Cassandra Merry has been painting for most of her life. Art was always a hobby but is now her profession. Her medium is primarily oils, but she also enjoys working in pastels, pencil & occasionally watercolors. cassandra merry

Her training began with New York artist Jack Zilko for 8 years and culminated in a one-woman show in Westbury, NY. After relocating to New England, she then studied with various artists at DeCordova in Lincoln, Mass. She then returned to college for her B.A. at Harvard University, focusing on fine arts & humanities. Her art professors included the superb realist Joel Babb, Paul Stopforth, William Reimer and the late painter & colorist Albert Alcalay.

Cassandra has won many awards in local juried shows in recent years and her works are represented in numerous private collections.

She teaches private & group lessons at her Westford studio and continues to offer art classes for both adults and children.
